  • Professional development tracking report – completed bi-annually
  • Targeted students report – completed bi-annually

The evaluation worksheet is an on-line survey. The remaining items are forms in Microsoft Word. If you require a different format, please contact your region evaluator.

About SB 185

The Commission on Educational Excellence (CEE) was appointed by the Governor’s Office in 2005 to oversee funding to support innovation and remediation programs throughout the State of Nevada. Originally signed into law as SB 404, this grant was awarded to schools and districts in the State of Nevada over two rounds of competitive application review in the spring of 2006.

Funding support for the Innovation and Prevention of Remediation program was continued in the 2007 Nevada Legislative Session and signed into law as Senate Bill (SB) 185.

While the program title, “Innovation and Prevention of Remediation” has remained in place, the senate bill number has changed each session and will most likely continue to do so if future funding allocations are made.

The Clark County School District submitted 266 applications in June of 2007 for consideration under SB 185. Of these, 57 were denied (21.4%), 168 were partially funded (63.2%), and 41 were fully funded (15.4%). The total amount awarded to these 209 schools in CCSD was $32,533,846.16 for FY 08 and FY 09. A complete list of awards by district is available on the award page of the Commission at the State Department of Education’s website.
